After the iOS and Android version, the favourite app Mountain Rescue is now available to users of mobile phones with Windows Phone 8 as well. The application, which has already contributed to save lifes several times, has been downloaded by nearly fifty thousand people so far.
Mobile application Mountain Rescue is now available for Windows Phone 8
The main goal of the app is to help tourists in emergency cases thoughout the year – both in summer and winter. In addition, the application provides many useful information to visitors of the Czech mountains.
The new version of the application covers all the features available to users of the app with other mobile platforms. Given the specificity of the Microsoft user interface, the design of the application, however, changed a lot. We adjust the design to the visual style of other Windows Phone apps, which is surely familiar with all the WP users.

In 2012, application Mountain Rescue scored in the prestigious competition Internet Effectiveness Awards. The application was awarded as the 3rd best mobile solution in the cathegory Tourism and transport and the 3rd place in the readers poll of iHNed.cz.
The app Mountain Rescue Service, which was developed with the contribution of Česká pojišťovna, is available for download on the Windows Phone Store.
