The application mParkovani is suitable for anyone who is either regularly or occasionally facing parking problems or high traffic density in Prague. The app provides information about the current number of vacant parking spots in arresting car parks P+R, shots from traffic cameras, information on current traffic conditions and detailed map of parking zones in Prague 1, 2, 3 and 7 including the information about parking meters and parking prices.

The version for Android brings an innovation of the possibility to set the automatic notification about the expiry time of the parking ticket. You just set the lenght of parking  you have paid for (e.g. 3 hours) and you optionally set the timing of the notification to display (e.g. 15 mins before the expiration of the paid parking time).

The icing on the cake is the possibility to mark the place where your car is parked. This functionality is useful when parking in a strange city and if the sense of direction doesn´t belong to your strongest personality traits. You don´t have to wander the streets in vain to find your parked car.
