So, the end of the year is here again and eMan has a challenging but also great year under its belt. The merger with Jablotron, further significant growth, almost doubling the size of our team, new projects, moving the main headquarters to Holešovice as well as the opening of regional offices.

In the next installment of our series on the topic of Xamarin, we will be delving into an introduction of the structure of the Android project, which is completely different from iOS.

Since November 14th you can find us at our new adress in Prague 7, Holešovice. Our team is still growing, so we really needed new offices. These new offices provide us with the required space and comfort for our work and relaxation.

The first of a series of developer meetings called eMan Dev Meetup were held in the premises of our new branch in Hradec Králové earlier this week. Roughly two dozen Internet of Things and technology enthusiasts came to verify that embarking on building a smart home by yourself is not difficult.

eMan is on the move again after three years. We are growing and our team is constantly expanding. The existing premises in Prague's Strašnice are already pretty cramped. The lighting-fast move will take place in the second half of September. We're really excited about the new premises in Holešovice.

In the previous parts, we had the opportunity to try out basic applications in Xamarin and in the Visual Studio project. Before we begin to address the steps for creating more complex applications, we will take a gradual look at the structure of iOS first, then an Android project.

eMan is growing, expanding its team and moving closer to the customers. That’s why we’re opening up branches in Plzeň and Hradec Králové.

In the last segment of our Xamarin series we focused on creating the HelloWorld iOS application using Xamarin Studio. Based on the feedback from the previous article, I decided that in order not to deprive those who want to realize their projects in Visual Studio, I would dedicate today's segment just to them.

In the last part of our series on the development of mobile applications at Xamarin, we briefly introduced Xamarin Framework. Now we’ll take a look at the initial steps that accompany the development of basic applications.
